Accepting these terms

By creating an account, or by continuing to use The Homeschool Day, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a household or organization, you confirm you have the authority to agree on its behalf. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

Your account

Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to it.

What you may not do

You agree not to misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

• use it for anything unlawful, or to harm or harass anyone;
• use it for fraud, spam or misleading activity;
• copy, resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the service or its software;
• interfere with its security or availability — including malware, probing, scraping, or attempting to get around technical limits;
• upload content you do not have the right to upload.

Your records and content

The information you enter — your children's names, daily checklists, attendance, reading logs, photos, portfolio entries and progress reports — belongs to you. You grant us a limited permission to store and process that content only so we can provide the service to you. You can export your records at any time, and deleting your account removes them.

Our intellectual property

Beach Bebe LLC retains ownership of The Homeschool Day, including its software, design, documentation and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your chosen plan. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

Service availability

We work hard to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted, always available or entirely free of errors. To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not a substitute for your legal obligations — it is your responsibility to know and meet the homeschool record-keeping requirements where you live.

Payments, billing and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, subscription renewal, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund window is described in our Refund Policy. Plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time from Settings, and access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings. When access ends you can export your records beforehand; after deletion, your data is removed.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or loss of goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it to be excluded.

You agree to indemnify Beach Bebe LLC against claims arising from content you upload, unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. If we make a significant change we will let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction over any dispute. You may not assign your agreement without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a merger or sale of the business.
